Design for print and web/ ISTD/ Design plan of action

Website

To design an interactive, sociable and creative website for individuals who love the art of the garden. A website which explores and communicates colour, form and information as its goal. The direct website will be accessed by enthusiastic people who enjoy gardening, want to be part of a gardening community or who are interested in the types of life in a garden such as plants, flowers, foliage, herbs etc. This type of website will be unconventional and distinctive in relation to most common gardening websites its aim to is introduce the world of design to the world of gardening through the use of the Pantone colour matching system. To kick start it there will be promotional material produced to raise awareness of the website and app this will be put into place by celebrating the Pantone colour of the year 'Emerald green'. 

Content of website:
- Home page 
(What the website is about and how it works, how to use it, step by step perhaps? New website. new users)
- Main feature 
(Identify a plant, by uploading a photo or by entering the characteristics of a plant or flower to a filter to receive information about what you're looking for, in relation to the App also)
- A-Z of plants
(A glossary of garden life, colour co-ordinated)
- Forum
(To discuss plants, photography, pantones, blogs to visit etc)
- Pantone Plant Swatch 
(A selection of pantones which can be selected to create a swatch pallet in order to design a colour co-ordinated garden EG colour #17-2031 TPX—Fuchsia Rose and so on.. from this there will be an option to use saved colour swatch and print off usable garden swatch or print tags for plant pots etc)

App

To design a practical and fun app which lets people engage with the idea of gardening and allow them to be a member of a current trend, as the app and website has an audience of 30-55 it has to be legible, not complicated and appealing for people to want to use it.

- Icons for page directory 
- Who are we?
- Plantae Pantones / Create swatch/ Save swatch/ Use swatch to design garden for example - flower bed colour co-ordinated 
- A-Z of planate
- Gallery 
- Forum
