Collaborative - D&C/ Music and technology

The inclusion of technology on the night was important as music was a main part of the re-written brief for us, apple products are a huge trend in modern day culture and we wanted to emphasis the appearance of the products. Below are the images I edited for the publication, the idea was to use simple tones such as blue and green to highlight the logo and the decks.

Collaborative - D&C/ Black and white edits

For these image edits I layered various images up which complemented each other and added rusty effects and borders.

Collaborative - D&C/ Set up Polaroids

To display the set up images Emily and I wanted to use different aspects of photography which included smart phone camera, in this case I used my iphone to document the process of the set up and used a image editor to produce digital polaroids. As technology is a huge part of contemporary youth we thought it was more than appropriate to produce work in this was, and as old trends become new, polaroid imagery seemed current enough to include. We liked the idea of being able to add handwritten notes to the images to annotate the development.

Collaborative - D&C/ Powder paint shoot edits

Editing process

For these images I was aiming to produce trippy/ shifting/ shimmer photographs as the concept behind them was themed around dancing.

Final results

Below are the final edits, over all I am happy with the results, the outcome is work that is almost exaggerated versions of the originals by using a coloured silhouette technique in the imagery.

The colour of the powder paint was green and purple, in these images i wanted to play on that.
