I decided to choose quite a subtle and warming colour pallet as I didn't want the style of the poster to look too vivid. I think the soft colours are suitable for the illustrations I have done of particular objects such vintage clocks, buttons and a retro phone dial.
The font I chose was Myriad Pro due to the 'O' resembling much of the objects I drew and I think the style of font suits the poster concept.
Given that the title of the poster is 'Bi-Cycle Exhibition' I wanted to play with the circular shapes and make them look like bicycles.
Final Poster
Overall i'm pretty happy with the final design, I think concept wise it delivers the message visually about the bi-monthly exhibition.
