Design for web: Bagology page development

For this page i wanted to use a gif again, because the illustrations i drew would be more suiting to a larger scale, so the only thing that change about the wire frame was that the slideshow fit into one column instead of two.

This is the first slide of the gif/ slideshow its for the viewer to question and grasp what a handbag means to an individual.

For the next stage i decided to focus on the Chanel handbags, purely because i like the colour, shape and style of them, i thought having a sequins of bags for the gif would be best suited.

Here is the development of how i illustrated the handbags.

Chanel Tote

To get the quilted look of the infamous Chanel bags i simply played around with the opacity of dark tones, and added gradients to areas of detail when necessary.

Over all i'm really happy with the illustrations, i think the black and gold colour palette defiantly works well for the bagaology page.

After this i mocked up each page for my slide show:

Slide 1: A question and answer about what bagology is thought to be.

The definition of what small and large bags represent.

An illustration of a type of bag used and the and what it represents in a person.

Here is a preview of how the slideshow will look and what order it will work in:
