It's your choice

Brief
Select a brief, task, response or product that you have completed as part of the programme and improve on it. What will choose & why? How will you improve it and for what reason?

Review all the work, tasks and workshops that you have been involved in since september and identify an opportunity to revisit something that you wish you had more time to complete, could change the decisions that you made or should have researched / developed more thoroughly. You can only select from briefs that you have completed and not those that are currently under development.

We are not asking you to just re do a brief. Whatever you choose should act as starting point that offers you the chance to develop a substantial exploration of an problem, idea, concept, process. Can you extend your initial ideas into a range of products, a deeper investigation of context / function / format or review your response to a group project.

WHAT brief/ task i want to re-visit:
'Proverbally yours message and interpretation' or 'Provberbally yours message and delivery'

WHY - Because i wasn't satisfied with the outcome of either of the briefs i thought my designs were weak and there was lack of design experimentation as well a good body of research.

HOW - I intend to revisit one of the two briefs, firstly brainstorm what did and didn't work about each brief, how it can be resolved and why it will work and be delivered better.

Message and interpretation:
- original concept worked but visually weak
- first ever design on illustrator
- would be interesting to see a difference in design ability
- wished i could of done more
- perhaps change the deliverables
- opportunity to re-think the concept/ alter
- perhaps choose a different design process

Message and delivery:
- hand rendered instead of illustrator
- didn't fully research
- left it till last minute
- wasn't full satisfied with my designs
- try a different method of design
