Collaborative - D&C/ Digitalised invitations

Here are some designs I put together today, these six symbols seem to be very recognisable and popular in modern day culture so we decided to run with these for the invitations which will inevitably be made into stencils.

The shape of the invite is linked to the clear shape of an app design, the reason for this is because technology has played a huge influence in our concept and it would seem relevant to play on it. I was unsure about the tear off ticket designs as they seemed a little fussy for first hand designs.

Here I tested the same shape on the flyers, this would of course make the designs match, however we were uncertain on it.

The font we chose was Helvetica purely because it is a font which is seen to have shaped the modern world.
Emily suggested that we experiment with standard flyer shapes also to see which works best.

I intend on printing and laser cutting the flyers ready to spray paint with to ensure the stencils work effectively and to also create some spray paint effects on them to add tone to the plain designs.
