Collaborative - D&C/ Type 'TASTE'

Another busy day on the laser cutter, we managed to complete cutting the rest of all the type we needed to display in the basement.

To create the graffiti work we used the patterns stencils to work around the type.

We made a start on the graffiti wall by laser cutting sticky adhesive spelling the word 'TASTE'. The word signifies a generation of individuals, symbolising their style of fashion and music as well as the involvement with other characters.

We bought some small spot lights to use for experimenting with lighting on the type, here are some of the results.

To add drop shadows to the type we laser cut the word taste on mount board, spray painted it green to add a boldness to it and suspended it in front of the graffiti wall to create and illusion of 3d type.
