Communication is a virus: CD nets

Myself and Emily found some useful nets designs of cd packaging that we designed to sketch out and use as testers for our album covers, the following photos show our experiment. As we have 25 albums in total to print and fold we don't want to make anything to complex, never the less here is what we found and came up with.

Drawn out version of the nets we found, drawing the packaging precisely turned out to be quite tricky, however we got the hang of it after we sketch a couple of nets. 

 Here is the mock up of the packaging, we liked the outcome, however due to the type of stock we will be using and the time it took to make the mock up net, it just wasn't the best design to use. From this we decided to base our packaging on record sleeves, a simple design compatible for a cd and an insert.
