Theory into practice: Initial typeface

Here is my starting point, to begin creating my own typeface i thought the best idea was to use the Stefano Buffoni (metropolitan) as a starting point, it's bold has large spacing and will be easy to edit to how i want it to look like, especially that i'm illustrating into the typeface.

Here is the font draw out to a 40x30cm grid, each letter in a square 6x6cm.
